Calibration is
performed on a Talycenta roundness gauge, which determines the deviation from
the perfect roundness of a circular sample (generally a crystal hemisphere)
indicated as the peak-to-valley difference, with reference to the centre of the
circle of the minimal squares (LSC).
The certificate also indicates the:
- Type of sampling
- Type of filter
- Length and type of the
stylus
- Measuring force and
dimensions
- Height from the
resting base of the measured profile

La taratura, eseguita

un campione circolare (normalmente Emisfera in Cristallo) espresso come la
differenza radiale picco - valle, con riferimento al centro del cerchio dei
minimi quadrati (LSC).
