  • fulfil  specific logistics needs,
  • provide a gradual transfer of  maintenance capabilities from industry to the user through customised support solutions,
  • construct the Weapon system Workshop,
  • upgrade the existing, utilities & facilities,
  • improve the Supply Chain Management,
  • improve the systems availability, etc.
 
  4. provide remote services (On-Line Customer Services) such as:
  • e-learning (WBT: Web Based Training), multi-media Training (Shareable Content Object Reference Model SCORM),
  • Web Technical Assistance,
  • request for quotation, order tracking,
  • configuration control of the system in use,
  • suggestions for customised technical solutions/improvements/modernisation, etc.
 
Oto Melara offers different support solutions, starting from traditional support (supply of spares, tools, training, technical publications, etc) to full industry support.
The customer may choose its solution or decide to start with one and gradually shift to another, so as to minimise the impact of the introduction of the new system into its organisation.
